What is Accurx?
Accurx is an easy-to-use platform where patients and healthcare professionals communicate.
The online consulting tool is the preferred method for patients to request a GP appointment, designed to improve access to your GP. All requests will be reviewed and triaged by a GP within 1 working day of being received, and subsequently the clinical concern will be dealt with by the most appropriate healthcare professional in an appropriate timeframe. The tool is open to use between 7am to 6.30pm between Monday to Friday inclusive (it is not available for use on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays).
The tool is for non-urgent clinical and medication related queries. Sick notes, repeat prescriptions and administrative queries can be requested through the online tool. Clinical concerns that need same day assessment (such as an unwell child) need to be discussed with a receptionist who will support prioritised GP triage and review.
